Our Approach
Gramercy believes that every search is unique so, as a result, we insist on taking a full and comprehensive briefing at the outset of every assignment, no matter how familiar we are with the client or the role. This enables us to properly understand what the client is seeking, as well as identify any potential obstacles.
With research forming the foundation of every search, we draw on our extensive network of senior leaders around the world, as well as our database, to identify and bring forward the best talent, as often the most interesting people are found in less obvious places.
We evaluate and assess candidates against the brief, determining which are the best fit from a cultural and technical perspective. The most suitable are further evaluated through detailed referencing to gain greater insight into strengths, developmental areas, motivation, potential and fit.
For each shortlist candidate we prepare a report which includes our analysis and evaluation against the brief, as well as references and the candidate’s CV.
Once client meetings commence, Gramercy remains in close and continuous contact with the client and candidates. We gather and provide feedback, arrange further meetings and, ultimately, put forward an offer to the preferred candidate before managing any negotiation through to acceptance. We keep in contact with the client and successful candidate throughout the candidate’s notice period, and as they transition to the client organisation.

Continuous communication, which is key to the success of every assignment. We always work as a team, ensuring that we can be reached at all times. As well as regular update meetings, which are scheduled at the start of every assignment, we send an email to all assignment stakeholders at the end of each week, highlighting progress on the search.
